Roots in the Research Triangle

Growing up right outside Research Triangle Park, I spent my teenage years glued to Netscape Navigator, hypnotized by dial-up tones and pixels loading one row at a time. By the dot-com boom I was hand-coding HTML in Notepad — tables, frames, animated GIFs, the works. That early obsession with what happens on-screen never faded; it just sharpened.

From Pixels to Platforms

Those GeoCities experiments led to freelance work, then agencies, then product teams — each step adding a new edge: visual design, front-end engineering, user research, systems thinking. Today, from Raleigh, "The City of Oaks," I lead design and development for enterprise commerce platforms — point-of-sale systems, online ticketing flows, real-time dashboards — where every interaction is a chance to get it right.

Outside of Work I Keep Active

Sitting at a desk all day is rough on the body. I've always incorporated strength training, running, and an active lifestyle to offset the long hours of sedentary deep focus.

An Amateur Aquarium Enthusiast

One of my simpler hobbies is building mini planted aquariums — filled with plant life, low maintenance, and beautiful to watch. There's something grounding about seeing a small ecosystem thrive and grow daily.
