Most of the time, this is the part where I would tell you what I can do, in some catchy little pitch line that hopefully sounds appealing. But instead I will step outside the box and get a little personal before I get too professional.

My name is J.J. Chambers. I reside in Raleigh North Carolina, and live with my girlfriend, who is currently finishing her last year at the University of North Carolina’s design school and our dog Brock who is founder and C.E.O. of Box Guard Security 6000 (Not a real company.). We live in a two bedroom apartment by the University of North Carolina. It’s small and very convenient to campus. But it’s more of a home than a house has ever been. I guess it’s because I have such a wonderful family to come home to everyday.

Along with my chosen profession, I am also an exercise fanatic. Granted, my work out time is limited, but I am hooked to jogging and weight lifting and always have been. My favorite place to jog at is Lake Johnson and when I’m at the gym, I’m usually trying new methods of strength training to shock the muscle and stretching to stay limber. It’s great for stress management. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it.

My dog, Brock Lee Chambers, is a 4 year old Boxer who is the most loyal companion I could have ever asked for. He truly defines the term “Man’s best friend”. Brock is my fourth Boxer. He is very loving, loyal  and to my surprise, intelligent for his bread type. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention. He’s the founder and owner of Box Guard Security 6000 (”NO ROBBER IS SAFE!”) and the greatest guard dog in the world.owl_moth

My girlfriend Samantha will be completing college at the University of North Carolina design school. Currently, she is freelance artist. Her skills range from realism, to impressionism using all varieties of mediums. She is hoping to pursue her passion as an artist, full time, after graduation. She is highly creative and a good source of inspiration for me. Howev er, she can be my worst critique at times.

Ok, enough with all the personal stuff. If you read this far then you’re probably wondering… What can this guy really do? Well, here it is. I am a Graphic Designer and Web Developer specializing in building standards compliant websites using CSS and XHTML and designing for print. I am proficient in Adobei Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks. Also, I’m knowledgeable in Javascript, Actionscript, PHP, Ajax, and InDesign. I also take advantage of social community websites such as Design Float, Facebook, MySpace and etc. to broaden myrankings, via search engines.
